What We Do

Arteria  converts eCommerce shipments into advertising infrastructure.

What does that mean?

Think about the last thing you bought online. No matter what it was, our bet would be that there was enough empty space in that box or bag your order was shipped in to hook you up with a free granola bar, laundry pod, and other contextually relevant product samples or marketing inserts.

Arteria  converts this void space into media inventory for our partners.

WHy we do it

We believe eCommerce logistics' networks are the next-generation marketing and data network.

Our conviction around this belief is what drives our commitment.

We are in the middle of what many call the "retail apocalypse".

As the consumer product and retail landscape rapidly evolves, the team at Arteria sees it as their duty to enable the best retailers and consumer brands to continue creating customer experiences that allow them to win in the long run.

By optimizing inefficiencies, Arteria is able to help retailers and brands unlock their most meaningful future growth vehicle.

Our History

May 2013

Rob Founds PijonBox

Rob founded PijonBox, a subscription service which delivered curated care packages to college students. Brands were eager to be featured in PijonBoxes, and this is where the insight for Arteria came from.

October 2016

Arteria Network

Rob and co-founder, Bill Thayer, spun Arteria Network out of PijonBox, and became focused on building Arteria.

December 2015

PijonBox did not have enough audience reach for Coca-Cola.

Coca-Cola wanted to reach college students through PijonBoxes, but the distribution volume did not meet their demand capacity.  So, Pijon brokered a deal with a third party retailer for placement in their shipments to college students.
